Hello there. Welcome to the home of TTrak - a YM2149 Chip Tracker for the Atari ST family of computers.
It’s designed with ease of use in mind and has a powerful instrument editor designed to get the very best (and worst) out of the YM2149.
You can download the latest version right here:
Some highlights you can look forward to:
- Advanced Waveform editing UI
- Groove Editor
- Morphing Wavetable timer waveforms
- FM timer effect
- Sidechain compressor
- Link multiple partial intruments together to create uber-sounds
- Preset browser
- Combine digidrums and YM pulse/noise in same instrument
- MPC style drum pad note entry mode
I made some Youtube tutorials for an easier entry into Atari ST YM2149 tracking.
The full playlist is HERE. Some of this stuff is already out of date so hold tight for some more video tutorials :)
The tracker is still in beta phase and as such is a work in progress. If you find any serious bugs or have any feedback, i’ll be interested to hear from you :) You can email me at:
I’ve already had a lot of really useful feedback and will have a run at fixing any major issues prior to the final release in a couple of months or so :)
